Specsavers Hayes are championing road awareness during Road Safety Week. The Hayes store will be distributing 200 high visibility vests to local children during the annual awareness week, while also calling on road users to make time for regular eye screening.
A word from the store director
Irinder Khakha, store director of Specsavers in Hayes, said: ‘As optical specialists, we feel it is our responsibility to raise awareness of the relationship between sight and road safety during Road Safety Week. We want to remind drivers that their eyes need to be road-safe and encourage pedestrians to make themselves visible to drivers. We hope the children can help us set an example by wearing their high visibility vests, and we ask them to stop by and collect their vest from store while supplies last.’
