A local optician is celebrating serving the local community for 25 years this February with a big birthday bash, fundraiser and special guests to mark the occasion.
The Specsavers store, which has been located on Beulah Street for over 25 years, will be hosting back-to-back fun days to celebrate on the weekend of Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February.
The team at the Harrogate store will also be hosting a collection in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance during the celebrations.
A weekend of fun and festivities
John Broadberry, store director at Specsavers in Harrogate, said: ‘It’s a pleasure to have served our loyal customers in Harrogate over the past 25 years, and we’re thrilled to be able to open our doors for a whole weekend of fun and festivities.
‘We’re hoping for a real party atmosphere with all of the activities going on during the weekend, including a visit from the giant green Specsavers quadruped, and that people will donate to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance generously.’
The store will welcome donations, both large and small, in place of testing fees and will have collection buckets placed around the store.
The team at Specavers in Harrogate is also thrilled to welcome guest of honour Mrs Katherine Crisp on the morning of Saturday 24, the first ever customer to register at the store 25 years ago and who has remained a loyal patient.
25% off discount vouchers
With balloon modelling and birthday cake on offer, there will be something for everyone to enjoy during the weekend as the store is transformed with bunting, balloons and music to give a real party atmosphere.
In addition to the fun day, the team at Specsavers in Harrogate will be handing out 25% off discount vouchers during the week prior to the birthday bash, from Saturday 18 February.
