Specsavers has launched a brand new range of kids’ specs designed by art and craft supplies giant Crayola.
To celebrate the release of the fun, new range, the local opticians in Harlow is holding a colouring competition for children.
The striking specs feature an ultra-comfortable design, super sturdy flex hinges and come with single-vision lenses, including a UV filter for added protection in the sun.
Director at Specsavers Harlow, Sarah Flowers said: ‘It’s lovely to have these bright, colourful frames to inspire boys and girls aged four to ten to get creative. We thought it would be a nice idea to celebrate the launch by giving children in our community the chance to win an arty prize.’
Get creative and win
To enter the competition all your little ones need to do is go into the store, ask for a colouring sheet and get creative. The child who colours the best picture will win one of the fantastic prizes, including Easter eggs, a Crayola Shadow Projector and a Crayola Colour Capsule filled the brim with art supplies.
All under-16s are entitled to a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding. Specs wearers can also choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 range, free. Both pairs can come with single vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment, or tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in the second pair.
The competition runs until Tuesday 3 April, when the winners will be announced.
