The Specsavers store, based on 12 Broad Walk, has been recognised for its outstanding people management standards.


Platinum Employer recognises businesses that provide a great overall employee experience, and Harlow Specsavers is the latest opticians to be awarded this prestigious status.

The scheme focuses on five key areas - talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development, and employee communications and engagement.

Outstanding customer service

Sarah Flowers, store director at Specsavers in Harlow, said: ‘We’re so pleased our store has been awarded this prestigious status.

‘We pride ourselves on the opportunities and support we offer our staff and it’s reflected in all their hard work and outstanding customer service. I’m proud of each and every member of staff here at the Harlow store.’

Raising the bar
