This Red Nose Day (Friday 24 March) residents in Halesowen will be treated to a frenzy of fundraising as Specsavers hosts a party day in store.
The team will getting behind the Comic Relief cause by ditching their uniforms in favour of Red Nose Day t-shirts, as well as running a ‘name the teddy bear’ competition with a prize of a goody bag full of sweets (entry is a suggested donation of 50p).
But there's more!
And the fun doesn’t stop there, as the store will be hosting a bake sale on Red Nose Day with all the treats being sold in return for a donation. The team will also be offering specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments), giving out goody bags and hosting a raffle with tickets being sold for a suggested donation of £1 per strip. All proceeds will be donated to Comic Relief.

Shahid Parvez, store director said: ‘We really wanted to get behind Comic Relief this year and try and raise as much money as possible. We’re also selling the official Specsavers Comic Relief comedy specs, which are fantastic and available in store now. We’re encouraging everyone who buys a pair to also join our giant Mexican wave on social media using the #GiveUsAWave.’
