Specsavers Opticians has been named as a finalist in the Association of Optometrists (AOP) Awards, which recognises and celebrates outstanding talent and contributions in the optical sector.

The store in Market Street is one of three finalists in the category of Practice of the Year.

Hard work, dedication and commitment

The award celebrates practices which engage in educating customers; show a flair for products and services; and which place an emphasis on looking after every customer on an individual level.

Store director Sarah Burchett was delighted the store, which has 27 staff members, had made it to the shortlist in this category. 'This is a real testament to the team for all their hard work, dedication and commitment, not just to the store, but also to the whole Bailiwick community,’ Sarah says. ‘We are nothing without a strong team, and it’s important the staff are supported and recognised for their hard work and dedication to the store.

‘We are very proud to be representing Specsavers at the AOP Awards 2018. To win this award would be amazing, so please support us and vote.’
