Staff at the Greenock opticians will be wearing festive jumpers every Friday and Saturday ahead of Christmas to help raise funds for Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
Digging deep for a local cause
The store’s staff will be making a donation to the charity in order to wear Christmas attire and customers will also have the chance to dig deep.
Free specs services and adjustments will be available for customers on the store’s Christmas jumper fundraising days in return for a donation.
Specsavers Greenock store director, Lesley Brown, said: ‘We’re getting in the festive spirit by donning our Christmas jumpers in aid of a vital local cause.
‘We’d like to welcome the community to help us support Children in Poverty Inverclyde by popping into the store during our fundraising days.’
Children in Poverty Inverclyde aims to assist in the alleviation of poverty for impoverished families in the area by providing support through donated new clothing, educational books and toys.
