The Greenock store has been crowned ‘Inverclyde Business of The Year’ at a prestigious local awards ceremony.
Celebrating local business achievements
The Bee’s Knees Awards are organised by The Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce and recognise the best in local business. The awards ceremony took place in the Marquee at the Chartroom, Kip Marina on 8 June.
It was attended by 300 local business people and hosted by Karen Dunbar.
Lesley Brown, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘It was such an honour to receive the coveted title of ‘Inverclyde Business of The Year’. The entire team is delighted and the win really is a reflection of everyone’s hard work.
‘Fellow store director Jonathan Dry and I took the helm at the Greenock store almost three years ago and have made a huge effort to support the local community in any way we can with the help of our staff.
‘The store also underwent a major transformation last year to make the layout even more accessible for customers and to create additional test rooms so we could test the sight and hearing of even more locals every week.’
