Work is underway to expand and upgrade the Greenock opticians, with the new-look store set to be unveiled in August.
The works at Specsavers in the Oak Mall Centre include two additional test rooms. The opticians will also expand its contact lens department, customer lounge and shop floor.
The entrance is being relocated to allow better access for wheelchair users and additional technology is being put in place to assist in appointments and glasses dispensing.
Jonathan Dry, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘This is a very exciting time and we are looking forward to unveiling our fabulous bigger store to locals in August.
‘We would like to thank everyone for their patience while work is underway. We are looking forward to unveiling the store and celebrating with customers during our party on 19 August.
‘Our new-look store will greatly increase our capacity to conduct eye and hearing examinations in a fresh and comfortable environment with lots of space for customers to browse our collection of glasses.’
Specsavers in Greenock will remain open to customers throughout the works.
