The Greenock store has invested in a new test room to better assist customers with mobility issues.
The test room is located on the ground floor and is positioned close to the entrance of the store.
Due to the additional capacity, the store has also taken on two pre-registration optometrists to conduct eye examinations, in addition to its team of six resident Optometrists.
A word from the store director
Lesley Brown, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘Our new test room has been designed for customers in wheelchairs and those who require a walking aid.
‘It’s very important to us to make sure our customers are as comfortable as possible and to do what we can to make their visit as easy as possible. We’re delighted to have a facility which enables us to better cater for customers with mobility issues.
‘We have also welcomed two new members of staff, Iram Sadiq and Mark McGowan. The pair are completing their pre-registration year at the store after qualifying from university.
‘They are fantastic additions to our team and are helping to conduct more eye examinations each week, now we have the extra capacity from the new test room.’
