Staff at the Greenock store celebrated two huge milestones – the store’s 25th anniversary and expansion – with a party.

Host of entertainment

The event featured a host of activity including a face painter, stilt walker and entertainment from the Clyde 1 FM presenting team.

Locals also had the chance to enter a raffle to win a Greenock Morton football top, with proceeds donated to Ardgowan Hospice.

The lucky winner was Paige McLennan, aged 6, who visited the store to collect the football top from members of staff Rachael Thomson and Deborah Williams.

Jonathan Dry, store director at Specsavers in Greenock, said: ‘Paige was over the moon when Rachael and Deborah presented her with her prize.

‘We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by the store during our celebrations and entered our raffle for a very worthwhile cause.’
