Specsavers Gravesend is delighted to be able to announce that they have welcomed new technology to the Thamesgate Shopping Centre store.
The team have invested in an optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine which brings hospital-grade technology to the high street, meaning that the experienced and professional optometrists in store can detect any potential problems with your eyes much earlier than traditional methods would allow.
A word from the store director
Lucy Wignall, store director in Gravesend, said: ‘We are delighted to be able to offer our customers this new test in store. Early diagnosis is important with eye conditions such as glaucoma, as any damage done before it is detected is permanent, so being able to offer that peace of mind is very important to us.
‘Investing in our store and our people is at the heart of our business, and we would like to thank our customers for their continued loyalty – and encourage them to come in and check out our OCT machine.’
