The opticians in Grangemouth is encouraging local contact lens wearers to book an appointment if they think they may have fallen behind on their check-ups.
As many as one in four contact lens users don’t visit an optician for an aftercare appointment once a year, as recommended.
Iain McPhedran, store director at Specsavers in Grangemouth said: ‘Regular check-ups are so important therefore I’d urge anyone who has missed their last contact lens appointmen to get in touch.’
Specsavers offers a free contact lens trial so customer can try before they buy. Anyone who signs up to the direct debit package will also receive free aftercare, eye test and free pair of glasses from Specsavers’ £45 range.
