Specsavers in Gosport has raised more than £200 for Guide Dogs For The Blind following a fundraising push over three months.

Helping those blind or partially-sighted

The store, located on 120 High Street, has been encouraging the community to donate to the charity, which provides support for those who are blind or partially sighted.

Store director Philippe Brogan said: ‘We’ve raised a total of £232.41 for Guide Dogs and keen to hit a target of £300 by the end of January'.

‘Our Gosport community have been very generous in helping us support this charity and we’re keen to focus our fundraising efforts on them for 2015. We’re inviting everyone to come and donate so that Guide Dogs can continue to make a difference.’
