Staff at Specsavers in Gorseinon put on their best high heels and strolled the day away, in the Specsavers store, to raise money for Velindre Cancer Care.
Their 'Stiletto Stroll' was part of their Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising activities on Saturday 18 October.
Male and female colleagues in stilleto heels
Sallyanne Colquhoun, director of the Gorseinon store, said: ‘The store were keen to be involved in another Stiletto Stroll campaign this year.
‘Last year was a fantastic event, raising both awareness for Breast Cancer and funds for our national Charity of the Year, Velindre, but this year we took the stroll from the high street into the store and turned it into an all-day challenge for staff to take part in.
‘There was some sore feet by the end of the working day – and we particularly loved seeing our male colleagues trying to walk in heels around the store! It was a really fun day and a worthwhile fundraiser.’
In addition, the optician's team hosted their very own Specsavers bake off with local pantomime star, Denny Twp, acting as a judge.
All proceeds from the cakes sold went towards Specsavers overall target to raise £5,000 in Wales for Velindre.
