The Gorseinon team has raised more than £100 for its charity of the year, Cerebra, thanks to a day of wacky fundraising fun.
Staff raised £104.43 by sporting colourful wigs and hats as part of an awareness-raising day for the Carmarthen-based charity, which provides support and services to children with brain conditions and their families.
They also hosted a raffle where customers were encouraged to donate £1 for the chance to win a pair of designer spectacles worth up to £145.
Douglas Bushrod from Pontarddulais was the lucky winner and returned to the High Street store to pick up his prize.
A photo booth in-store also proved popular with customers, who donned various colourful and flamboyant accessories to take home a souvenir photo.
‘Our team thoroughly enjoy hosting fundraising events in-store and this was no exception,’ says store manager, Elizabeth Berrell.
‘It is always a pleasure to raise funds for, and awareness of, the life-changing work Cerebra does for thousands of families across Wales and the UK. It’s also always great fun. Our customers are wonderful and always embrace our efforts.’
