Specsavers in Girlington has held an exclusive open evening for local businesses to showcase its most up to date facilities in optical and hearing care to local businesses.
Following the store’s recent refurbishment, the evening gave Specsavers in Girlington a chance to showcase its latest innovations and give guests a guided tour through departments by expert staff.
A brand new look
As part of the refurbishment, the welcome desk has been removed, and guests are now met by staff at the front of store and booked in via iPad. This forms part of Specsavers’ unique new ‘iHarmony’ model, which ensures that customers have a seamless and stress-free journey through the store, and ultimately helps to reduce waiting times.
A word from the store director
Pete Rooke, store director at Specsavers in Girlington, said: ‘As a store we’re proud of the refurbishment, so it was great to give local businesses the chance to see what we have to offer, showing how optical and hear care has evolved and to demonstrate how Specsavers is embracing new and innovative technology.
‘As well as showing them what they could now experience in store, it gave us chance to catch up with customers new and old.’
