The Galashiels team has donated 100 high-visibility vests to a local Rainbow, Brownie and Girl Guides groups to help them stay safe this year.
Keeping youngsters safe
The donation was part of Specsavers’ pledge to help youngsters stay safe when out in busy streets and public areas.
Iain McFadyen, Store Director at Specsavers in Galashiels, said: ‘It is a real pleasure to play our role in keeping local children visible. Providing children with high visibility vests is a simple but effective idea to keep them safe.
‘Helping to increase the safety of local children is so important and we’re pleased that we have been able to donate the vests to benefit the groups.’
