Specsavers in Folkestone is playing a key role in keeping children seen on the roads.

Over the years, Specsavers in Folkestone has championed road safety with the free issue of kids' high-vis jackets. This year, pupils at local school Castle Hill Primary School was thrilled to get their free allocation.

They are perfect for school outings and help the children remain seen by drivers when out and about.

A word from the store director

David Cavender, store director at Specsavers in Folkestone, says: ‘We are delighted to have been able to make this donation to the Castle Hill School as every pupil now has his or her own vest to wear every day in the winter.

‘Hopefully this will mean that a few more children will be helped to be kept a little safer on the roads.’
