Specsavers in Folkestone has donated high visibility vests to a local primary school.

The vests were donated to Christ Church CEP Academy to help pupils be seen when out walking in the community.

A word from the director

Alistair Elgar-Williams, store director in Folkestone, said: ‘We were delighted to be able to donate the high-vis vests to the school. We hope they will find them really useful during their school trips.

‘Being seen really matters, but making sure you can see others clearly is important too. So if you have not had an eye test in a while, it could be time to get one.’

A word from the school

'Thank you so much to Specsavers for the very kind donation of high-visibility jackets for our staff and children, they arrived just in time for our Year 1 class school trip to the Rare Breed centre!'
