Little things make a difference
Denise Roe, Flint store director said: ‘Many of us including myself have undertaken Dementia Friends training and I feel it has made us more aware of what is happening in people’s lives and enabled us to have a greater understanding of people.
‘It really made us think about how we treat every customer and how the little things we can do will make such a difference to someone and their family.’
Staff wear Dementia badges
Dementia trained staff are recognised as ‘Dementia Friends’ and wear a badge on their uniforms to demonstrate their awareness and knowledge to customers.
