To celebrate their 10 year anniversary in the town, staff from a Felixstowe opticians raised more than £1,200 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
The team held a week long fundraiser including a cycle challenge outside the store on an exercise bike, a cake sale and specs services in exchange for donations from local Felixstowe residents and customers.
Store director, Naeem Kazi said: ‘We’re absolutely thrilled to have raised such a healthy amount for the East Anglia Children’s Hospices as part of our 10 year anniversary celebrations. I’d like to thank local residents and all our customers for their support.’
Many specsavers stores around the region pledged their support for East Anglia Children’s Hospices, which support families and provide care for children and young people with life-threating conditions across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
