Specsavers Faversham is supporting a local charity auction which is raising funds to pay for the Christmas Lights in the town centre this year – and are urging their customers to get involved.

The Faversham Safari Charity Auction will be taking place at noon on Sunday 4 August at the Alexander Centre, Preston Street – just down the road from the store – and there are sure to be tons of great lots available. Sellers have paid £5 to register which will all go towards the lights.

A word from the store director

Joanna Wyndham, store director in Faversham, said: ‘The Christmas Lights are a big part of the festive season in Faversham, and can be expensive – so we are delighted to be able to support this fundraising effort.

‘So please come down and place a bid on the day, it should be a great day out and you might bag a bargain.’
