Locally owned opticians in Falmouth and Helston joined forces recently to help raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.
Local partnerships for a great cause
Led by optical assistant Victoria Flinders, the Specsavers stores worked together to source prizes from businesses in the two towns and sell tickets to customers and local residents.
A word of thanks from the store director
Raffle prizes included hair products, sports equipment, cuddly toys, gardening equipment and a children’s Kindle fire.
Helston and Falmouth Specsavers store director, Paul McGrane, said: ‘On behalf of Victoria and all the businesses that helped contribute to the Children’s Hospice South West raffle and to everyone that bought a ticket, I’d like to say thank you.
'You have supported a wonderful cause and raised more than £400 in the process. Finally to all the winners, congratulations.’
