Adrian Jackman from Specsavers Exmouth has completed a gruelling seven-mile hike cross-country hike to raise funds for Hospiscare.
Adrian proudly raised more than £150 for the charity which has provided care for his own father for the past 12 months.
Adrian said: ‘This was the second consecutive year I have taken part in the challenge and it really was difficult conditions. But despite the conditions we made it and I have never been so happy to see a pint and pasty than at the end of this two-hour hike.’
A word from the director
Ria Heskins, Exmouth Specsavers store director, said: ‘We are very proud of Adrian. This hike was no mean feat and the conditions were definitely not in his favour. Hospiscare provides such a great service to so many in the local community and we were delighted to support Adrian in his fundraising.’
