Exeter Specsavers was proud to partner with Devon Live to support the inaugural Devon Community Honours, launched to celebrate truly remarkable people who make our world a better place.
Promoting health and wellbeing
Specsavers Exeter and Tiverton sponsored the Promoting Health and Wellbeing category, which provided an opportunity for individuals and groups to gain recognition for their community-led approach to protecting and improving health and wellbeing.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremoney in Exeter Castle, hosted by broadcaster, Judi Spiers.
Winners included Gareth Smith from Exeter a pharmacist who was praised for kind and caring approach to the community; Liz Gunns from Tiverton was praised for her support of new mums; Greg Mimms set up a 5k run in his local community and Paul Mouland set up a regular weekly park fit session free of charge in Exeter.

Store director and Devon local, Emma Denham, commented on the awards: ‘We were delighted to support the first awards of its kind in Devon.
