Staff from Specsavers Evesham proved they were all heart as they hosted a bake sale raising nearly £350 for the British Heart Foundation.
The team from the store honed their best baking skills to raise £345.56 for the charity.
‘The British Heart Foundation is a cause that’s particularly close to us, as our team member, Sonia Palmer’s son Woody, underwent heart surgery in February last year,’ said Amy Liau, store director of Specsavers Evesham. ‘So, we’re keen to do all we can to not only raise funds for the charity, but also awareness about heart disease.’
The British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK. Its pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
