Staff at Specsavers in Evesham are proving they are all heart this Valentine’s Day as the team raises funds for charity.
The team are embracing the message behind Valentine’s Day by giving their love to the British Heart Foundation – raising funds for the cause.
From now until Valentine’s Day the team are encouraging visitors to share their feelings for a loved one by writing a message on a paper heart which will be displayed in the store window. Hearts are available in store in return for a small charity donation.
On the day itself, staff will take on a rosy glow by wearing red, while visitors can enjoy a range of baked treats in return for donations, courtesy of the store’s own bake sale.
A word from the store director
‘The team were unanimous in wanting to support the British Heart Foundation for Valentine’s Day,’ said Amy Liau, store director at Evesham Specsavers.
‘We hope that plenty of people share their love; either by declaring their sentiments on one of the paper hearts or by joining us on the 14 February for our bake sale.’
