The Easter bunny has arrived early at a local opticians - giving chocoholics something to drool over.
The team at Specsavers in Evesham is raffling off the giant Easter egg – all four kg of it - to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice. Tickets are on sale for a suggested donation of £1 with the raffle being drawn on Easter Monday (28 March).
‘This is the second year running that the Easter bunny has chosen to visit us early, which is great – but also a big test on our will power,’ said Amy Liau, store director. ‘Hopefully plenty of people will pop down to take their chance on winning this chocoholics dream, while helping us to support such an important charity.’
Established in 1988, Acorns Children’s Hospice provides care for babies, children and young people from 0-18 with life-limiting or life threatening conditions and support for their families.
