Specsavers in Epsom whipped up some sweet delights in the run up to Remembrance Sunday to fundraise for a charity close to their hearts.
Baking for Blind Veterans UK
Giving the contestants of the Great British Bake Off a run for their money were colleagues at the store who put on a great display of homemade cakes to raise needed funds for Blind Veterans UK.
The initiative ran in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday in November. The charity provides support to ex servicemen and women who have suffered visual impairment and blindness.
Thank you from the store director
Glen MacGregor, retail director at Epsom said: "Myself and fellow directors here at Specsavers in Epsom are so proud of the team, giving up their own time to bake for this fantastic charity. A big thank you to all those involved and also, our generous customers who kindly made their donations."
