Specsavers Enfield has become the 500th store in the country to be awarded 'Platinum Employer' of the year.
To mark the achievement, the Deputy Mayor of Enfield paid a visit to the store to help celebrate and was delighted to award the team with its Platinum Employer accolade.
Councillor Kate Anolue took the time to discuss individuals’ future career aspirations and hear from the directors how their optical and audiology services are addressing the needs of the local community.
What is the platinum employer?
Platinum Employer is an initiative set up to help Specsavers stores maintain high standards and provide a greater experience for their employees. It involves being externally assessed on five key areas of business standards, including performance management, recruitment and induction, and learning and development.
A word from the director on the day
Retail store director, Mark Anderson said of the award:
‘We have a brilliant and dedicated team here at Enfield who are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. The leadership team has been working hard on achieving Platinum Employer status to benefit everyone who works at the store.
