The team at Specsavers Edmonton Green have welcomed a new face this month.
New in store
Nicole D’Souza has joined the store, in North Mall, Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, as a newly qualified dispensing optician after graduating from Anglia Ruskin University.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Nicole came to the UK in 2012 to pursue a career in eye health. In the future, she hopes to broaden her skills further.
A word from Nicole
Nicole said: ‘My father is an ophthalmologist and my mother is an ophthalmic nurse, so I have always been exposed to the world of eyes. I knew this was my calling too, to help the world in sight and vision.
‘In the future, I would like to pursue a career in optometry and hopefully help my community more. I would also like to have an opportunity to volunteer with the international eye health charity Vision Aid Overseas to help underdeveloped countries in the fight for sight.’
A word from the store director
Archana Kanabar, store director in Edmonton Green, said: ‘We are delighted to have Nicole on the team. She is already settling in very well.
‘We pride ourselves on making sure we have the right people on the team to offer the best possible service to our customers. So why not come and see us in store soon.’
