Specsavers Edgware are seeing a big spike in the number of people booking eye tests in store this January.
Responding to demand
The store, in the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, is busier than usual thanks to what they think is people having time over Christmas to think about their eye health.
As a result, Specsavers Edgware has put on additional testing clinics to make sure that people can be seen quickly and when it suits them.
Time for a change
Rakesh Kapoor, store director in Edgware, said: ‘When people met up with their friends and family over the festive season, they might have noticed that their sight was not quite as good as it used to be – perhaps due to poor lighting at this time of year – or they might have spotted a new pair of glasses and decided that it was time for a new look.
Great range of glasses
Rakesh added: ‘Either way, we have been really busy this year so far. We have responded by making more tests available so that people can get their eyes checked. And, of course, we have a great range of designer glasses in store with great offers available, so they can get that new look at the same time.’
