Specsavers in Eastwood joined together with local businesses on the High Street this Easter to offer an Easter egg hunt for children, with the winners of the competition announced as brother and sister team, Arley and Harlow-Blossom Nelson.
Eastwood Egg Hunt Extravaganza
Organised by the team at Specsavers, nine stores including Peacocks, Barnardos, Thomas Cook and Headway took part in the ‘Eastwood Egg Hunt Extravaganza’, which involved children seeking out pictures of eggs in the shops’ windows.
On locating an egg, participants had to answer an Easter-themed question on the back of the picture and add it to their answer sheet.
Arley and Harlow-Blossom’s answer sheet was entered into a prize draw along with all other correct entries, and they were picket at random by the staff in store to win an Easter bundle of toys, sweets and games.
Specsavers store director Amisha Parmar says: ‘Congratulations to Arley and Harlow-Blossom for being the lucky winners of our Easter Egg-stravaganza!
‘We had lots of entries over the holidays and it was fantastic to bring our neighbouring businesses together to create a fun, interactive challenge for local children. Thank you to all who took part, and we hope that everyone enjoyed the activity.’
