Specsavers in Eastleigh has completed work on a major store refit that will enable opticians and audiologists to provide even greater levels of care to their local community.
The revamped business now includes two additional rooms to incorporate a Hearcare hub, bringing the total number of testing rooms up to seven, while a new contact lens department has also been added to the shop floor.
In addition, Specsavers Eastleigh has added more frame drops to offer more choice on its glasses range and has also updated to the iHarmony system, allowing staff members to use imaging software on iPads to help them pinpoint the perfect pair of glasses for customers.
Meanwhile, all testing equipment has been upgraded to the latest technology, with new digital phoropter heads and a Tonoref machine being added to make testing quicker and more efficient.

Minal Thaker, store director at Specsavers Eastleigh, said: ‘All the changes and the investment we have made in refitting the store have been for the benefit of our customers.
