An East Kilbride youngster was delighted to collect a giant Easter egg from the local opticians after winning its colouring competition.
Easter colouring competition
Kyle Robbie, aged 5, a primary one pupil from Kirktonholme Primary School, submitted a colourful Easter design to Specsavers in East Kilbride Shopping Centre.
Local children were invited to draw Easter egg designs which were displayed in the store’s window before staff chose the top entry. Kyle’s creation was a firm favourite with staff and he scooped the chocolate treat.
Shirley-Ann Kennedy, director of Specsavers in East Kilbride, said: ‘Our Easter competition always proves popular with children in East Kilbride hoping to win our fabulous chocolate prize.
‘All the entries looked fantastic and we’d like to thank everyone who took part.’
