Contact lenses can be a really convenient way to improve your vision, but they can be tricky for hay fever sufferers during the summer months.
With that in mind, the eye health experts at Specsavers East Ham in High Street North have some tips on how to keep your eyes as comfortable as possible when the pollen count soars.
A word from the store director
Ravi Persand, store director in East Ham, said: ‘If you find that your hay fever affects your eyes, you could find that your vision is less clear through your contact lenses, or that they are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.
‘If you do not currently wear daily disposable lenses, you might find that switching to these could make your eyes feel more comfortable. Alternatively, contact lens friendly eye drops could help – or you may be better to just wear your glasses until the pollen count drops again.’
