The team at Specsavers East Ham are committed to supporting all their customers with their eye care needs.
That is why some of the team at the store, in High Street North, have recently taken a new training course put together by the International Glaucoma Association and Specsavers which is designed to help retail staff advise glaucoma sufferers on how to use their eye drops effectively.
Most people with glaucoma will be told to use eye drops to manage the condition, although other treatments are available if they fail to keep it under control.
It is important that sufferers use them as directed, as any sight loss through glaucoma is permanent.
A word from the store director says
Ravi Persand, store director in East Ham, said: ‘Our team are committed to offering the best possible service to all of our customers, and this training course is just an extra string in our bow.
‘So if you have been told to use eye drops for glaucoma and are having a little trouble administering them, why not pop into the store soon for some advice.’
