Specsavers Dunfermline is helping to keep kids safer by donating high visibility vests to local children during Road Safety Week (20-26 November).
The store donated 200 vests to children during the Christmas light switch on in the town centre to ensure children remain visible in the darker evenings.
The donation is part of the store’s ongoing commitment to help local children stay safer on the streets by being clearly visible to motorists.
Store director at Specsavers in Dunfermline Andrew Hepburn, said: ‘It is a real pleasure to play our role in keeping the children of Dunfermline visible during the winter.
‘The dark nights and poor weather mean that road conditions are more treacherous during the winter months so we want to ensure that children – and their parents - feel safe and when they’re out and about over the next few months.’
