Specsavers Dunfermline is set to hold a coffee and cake event during Deaf Awareness Week (15-21 May) to help raise £100 to sponsor a hearing puppy who will transform the life of a deaf person.
Specsavers Dunfermline will host a Paws for Coffee event in-store on the 18 May and will have a special furry friend along to help on the day.
Hearing dog puppy in training, Wilson, will be at the store from noon to help raise awareness of the charity and the extremely important work it carries out in providing deaf people with a newfound sense of independence and confidence.
A word from our store director
Grace Hepburn, store director at Specsavers Dunfermline said: ‘Hearing Dogs are always so popular with our customers so we excited that Wilson is able to join us for our Paws for Coffee day.
Our staff will be baking up a storm and will be wearing dog ears to bring some fun to the event. ‘We look forward to welcoming customers into the store to help us raise the vital funds to sponsor a hearing puppy.’
