The Specsavers opticians and hearing audiologists in Dundee have raised £360 for the charity Blind Veterans UK during a fundraising day.
The store hosted a bake sale, raffle and sold packets of poppy seeds to raise money for the charity during Armed Forces Week.
Blind Veterans UK has been helping visually impaired ex-service men and women for the past 100 years, providing tailored services such as mobility training, teaching computing and cooking skills and providing equipment to over 6,500 veterans.
Tony Caffrey, store director of Specsavers Dundee, says: ‘We were thrilled to support Armed Forces Week and our fundraising event for Blind Veterans UK was really well received with £360 being raised for the charity.
‘All of the staff had a great time and our customers were extremely generous in supporting this wonderful cause.'
