Specsavers in the Loreburne Shopping Centre made Easter egg-stra special for two lucky youngsters.

Zack Rennie, aged seven, and sister Sophie, aged five, took part in the ‘guess how many eggs in the jar’ competition in the store in the run-up to Easter Sunday.

The jar held 158 eggs – and of all the entries, Zack and Sophie were closest with their guess of 160.

The siblings were delighted with their Easter gifts and said thank you to everyone in store.

Charity donation

To enter the competition, customers were asked to donate to Alzheimer Scotland.

Store director Jill Dickson said: ‘We would like to say a big thank you to every customer who donated to take part.

‘All of the money collected will go to our chosen charity for the year, Alzheimer Scotland. We’re sure that every penny will be of great benefit to individuals and families living with the condition.’
