The team from Specsavers in Dudley has been busy collecting Easter eggs for the children’s ward at Russells Hall Hospital, donating more than 100 chocolate eggs to children who spent their Easter break undergoing treatment.
During the week leading up to Easter, the Specsavers team asked customers who needed an eye examination to donate Easter eggs in return for a free sight test.
Gurdeep Dosanjh, store director at Specsavers Dudley said: ‘We do a lot of fundraising for the children’s ward at Russells Hall Hospital and each time we see them it’s a humbling experience.
'All the staff, families and children are so welcoming and we’re delighted that we can help make their Easter a little bit brighter.
‘A big thank you to our generous customers for their donations and for supporting the Easter egg drive.’
