The team at Specsavers in Droitwich has been thanked by a customer who was in need of urgent attention. 

Staff at the store acted quickly when a customer came in saying that her sight has failed. Following an eye examination, she was referred to Birmingham Eye Hospital as an emergency where she was diagnosed with fluid pressing on the retina. While the customer’s sight has since returned, she is now waiting for a referral from her GP to be seen at Worcestershire Royal Hospital for a further check-up.

Specsavers Droitwich store director and optometrist, Emma Singh, said: ‘We were pleased to be able to help this customer, who was obviously frightened. It’s lovely that she took the time to write a thank you card to us. We pride ourselves on our customer service, so it’s wonderful to be recognised in this way.’
