Members of staff at Specsavers Droitwich are showing their support for the England team as they dress up for their match days while raising money at the same time.
As well as dressing up, staff have been busy decorating the store in all things red and white. Customers are being invited to colour in flags and guess the number of footballs to be in with a chance of winning a footballer made of sweets. All money raised is going to Cancer Research UK.
A word from the store director
‘We’ve got some football fans in store, so we decided to celebrate the occasion by taking the opportunity to raise essential funds,’ said store director, Emma Singh.
‘Football is something that lots of people can get behind, and our patriotic theme in store is keeping spirits up so we hope this continues.’
Cancer Research UK is a research and awareness charity funded by generous donations and public support to help scientists, doctors and nurses find a cure for cancer.
