Members of staff from a Droitwich opticians completed a 5k mud run, raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
Supervisor Hannah Hodgkins and optical assistant Eloise Smith, from Specsavers in the Salters Shopping Centre, set foot on the muddy tracks on Saturday 14 July.
Staff from Specsavers in Droitwich helped the pair kickstart their fundraising efforts by offering unity bands, pin badges, wristbands and teddies to customers in return for donations.

Store director, Emma Singh, said: ‘It was fantastic to get behind Hannah and Eloise in their mission to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research UK. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who made a donation.’
Cancer Research UK was formed in 2002 after the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and The Cancer Research Campaign merged. The charity’s research has helped double the amount of cancer survivors in the last 20 years and they hope to one day find a cure for all cancers.
