Droitwich Specsavers delighted visitors at St. Richard’s Boat and Car Festival this month (May) as they handed out goodie bags filled with freebies at the event.
Bringing together the local community, Specsavers store manager, Rebecca Marvin and optical assistant, Emma Jelfs, joined local traders to provide a fun day for the festival’s visitors. More than 600 goodie bags were given out, along with exclusive sight test offers and new Specsavers earplugs.
‘The team had a fantastic time at this year’s festival,’ said Emma Singh, store director. ‘The event plays a vital role in bringing local people together and it’s fantastic for us to be involved.
‘Our goodie bags went down very well and we’re looking forward to welcoming those customers who picked up exclusive sight test vouchers into the store soon.’
St Richard’s Boat and Car Festival started in 2007 and has grown to become an annual attraction for the town. Centered around a vintage car rally through Droitwich Spa town centre, the event sees locals come together to celebrate the town’s patron saint.
