Staff at Specsavers in Droitwich have marked ten successful years in the town with an around the world celebration, which raised more than £160 for international charity, Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).
Fancy dress, games and snacks
The team decorated the store as a new country for each day of the week-long celebrations, inviting visiting customers to experience a range of exotic locations including China, America, France, Ireland and India.
The team also ditched their uniforms in favour of fancy dress, as well as putting on a glorious spread with themed games, food and snacks.
‘We had such a great week celebrating with our team and our lovely customers,’ said store director Emma Singh. ‘We’ve come such a long way in ten years, and this is all thanks to the dedicated group of staff we have at the store, and the support and loyalty shown by our customers.
‘We’re delighted we were able to include VAO in the celebrations and raise some important funding for them in the process. Here’s to another decade in Droitwich!’
