Specsavers in Droitwich is collecting non perishable foods for the Droitwich Spa Foodbank throughout June and July.

Food for thought

Staff are appealing to customers and the community to drop off any tinned or packaged goods at the store from Friday 26 June. The team will be collecting food in the trolley, kindly donated by Morrisons, placed at the front of the store until Friday 24 July.

Store director Emma Singh said: ‘We have always thought the Foodbank collection was a great local cause to help as it serves people in need in our town during these tough times.  Shoppers may wish to bring in ingredients they don’t use from their homes or pick up an extra tin during their weekly shop. Just one item goes a long way, so we are asking our customers for their support.’
