Droitwich Specsavers is inviting people to donate unwanted books to the store to raise money for a local school.

Second-hand book sale

The team at the St Andrew’s Square store is selling on second-hand books to customers in return for a donation to Droitwich Spa High School’s library.

Emma Singh, store director, said: “We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible for Droitwich Spa High School. Reading is something we’re passionate about, and for many people it’s the first time that they notice a problem with their sight.

‘We’re here to help people enjoy reading whatever their age, and we’re delighted to be supporting the school library.’

The book sale will continue until 31 August for anyone who would like to donate or purchase books.
